Please fill out the form below to nominate a new inductee for the Mercer County Hall of Fame. Or you can print out the application in PDF format and sent it in by US mail or through a board member.

1. The minimum age for induction is 45. However, three-fourths of the board of directors could vote to induct someone under this age.

2. The nominee, who must complete the required Hall of Fame induction application, must have participated in a duly recognized sport and attained a degree of excellence in that sport. Or the nominee must have contributed to the advancement of sports (Someone who promoted the welfare of sports, made a significant contribution to the Mercer County Hall of Fame, or provided dedicated service to sports).

3. The nominee must be out of the sport – retired or separated from a job for which he was paid (such as coaching).

4. The selection committee (nine members who serve three-year terms with three being replaced each year) shall review all applications and present their recommendations for induction to the board as a whole with a brief resume.

5. The number of inductees is not to exceed 11 per year, with a maximum of 10 of these being living inductees. It is recommended that only one posthumous candidate be inducted each year, although a maximum of two may be inducted if it is deemed necessary by the selection committee and so approved by the board.

6. Nominees for induction must be approved by a two-thirds vote of the board if a quorum is present.
